Our History
Created in 1976 by Pascale Tozzi, carioca Porto-Vecchio is one of the first island brands.
It was in this village of Porto-Vecchio, renowned for its white sand beaches, then almost deserted, that Pascale decided to create her brand.
Although tiny, its boutique-workshop attracts local customers as well as those who love Corsica.
In the evening, when the shop closes, Pascale designs her first creations and then spends part of the night making her models. The next morning, she offers her customers her dresses, unique pieces, different from what you usually find elsewhere.

The name Carioca reflects her love story with Yves and their shared passion for Brazilian music.
For several years, their daughter Sophie, a graduate in fashion design, has been carrying on the family legacy.
